Publications

To sail the seas and reach a safe harbour, nautical charts are an essential requirement. You need to rely on totally up-to-date charts and know how to use them. That's why we at Suisca Group offer a wide range of nautical publications, from navigation charts to log books.

These publications are supported by the institutional and technical backing of the United Kingdom Hydrographic Office ( UKHO ), the main supplier of hydrographic and geospatial data for seafarers and maritime organizations.

Provisioning for all types of vessels

  • General. They cover a large stretch of coast and are used for ocean navigation.
  • Route charts. They are used for medium distances.
  • Coastal navigation charts. They are essential for recognizing coasts and navigating along them.
  • Approaches. They are needed when approaching a port or reaching geographical features.
  • Portolan charts. With a scale greater than 1/25,000, they provide detailed representations of small coastal and sea areas, such as capes, ports, roadsteads, or coves.
  • River sketches.

Navigation becomes safer and more reliable when we have updated and well-documented nautical charts. Depending on their scales and contents, we can differentiate these types.

Some of them include insets, which are enlarged representations of specific areas within a broader chart.

In our assortment, we include polar, equatorial, and horizontal charts, as well as bathymetric ones with all kinds of valuable information. Thus, at Suisca Group we market the ideal nautical charts for each type of navigation.
